During the juice extraction process, the oil sacs are ruptured and the oil is washed out. This oil emulsion is cleaned, centrifuged, concentrated and then the pure oil is winterized. Winterization is aprocess to remove the undesirable wax. Cold pressed orange oil is widely used in the manufacturing of juices, drinks and beverages, cakes and candies, liqueur, cosmetics, soaps, perfumes and pharmaceutical specialties.
