Pulp wash is prepared from the pomace remaining after the extraction of orange juice. The pomace,the spent juice sacs, are separated from the fruit juice and washed with water to recover whatever juice remains in the sacs. Water is physically removed from the product resulting in Orange PulpWash Concentrate, which is used as an ingredient in fruit-flavored drinks.
